Phase 1 · Chiliz Spicy · open now

Serrano testnet.
Hot enough to prove it, free enough to try it.

Serrano is the phase where everything Arx Key does runs on the Chiliz Spicy testnet with play money. Every agent job, every strategy, every settlement, in public. Testers who put the system through its paces now are first in line when mainnet opens, on founding terms.

Test funds

Nothing here costs real money.

Free test CHZ

The Chiliz faucet gives 20 test CHZ per address every 24 hours. One agent action costs about 0.5 CHZ in gas, so one claim covers a Safe, a Charter and a day of agent work. Claim again tomorrow.

10,000 test USDT

The Binance Spot testnet gives every account a play-money balance, about 10,000 test USDT plus test Fan Tokens, reset monthly. The exchange agent trades there with trade-only keys exactly as it would on a live account.

Arx Pass at 5 CHZ

On Serrano the premium Fan Token & Chiliz desk costs 5 test CHZ for 30 days instead of 700. Test the 14 paid tools over MCP or HTTP with your agent, for free in practice.

Plain words: we cannot mint test CHZ, nobody can; the faucet is the only source and it is enough. What we can give is everything else: every tool unlocked, hosted slots, and the founding terms below.

For users

The tester checklist.

Do these in order. Each takes a few minutes. Every step leaves a transaction you can show.

  • 1Claim test CHZ from the faucet and connect your wallet in the Citadel; it adds Spicy for you.
  • 2Create your Safe and fund it with 5 CHZ.
  • 3Download the agent, run npm install and node index.js keygen, send the printed address 2 CHZ.
  • 4Write one Charter: tick Stake (and Vote if you like), paste the session key, keep the default caps, register.
  • 5Start the agent with the command the Citadel writes for you, or hand the instruction to your AI assistant.
  • 6Watch your audit trail fill, then try the limits: lower the cap, pause the Safe, revoke, and see the agent refused on-chain.
  • 7Subscribe your Safe to a marketplace strategy and link it in a new Charter; let the subscription lapse and watch the module stop the agent.
  • 8Optional: create Binance testnet keys, generate an exchange Charter, run cex-run, and settle its performance share on Chiliz.

What we want to hear

Where you got stuck, what you expected to happen, what the agent did that surprised you, which tooltip was wrong. One email per finding is perfect: hello@arxkey.com. We fix in public and credit you on the Live page if you want.

What testers get

  • ✓Pro free for the first month of mainnet (1,500 CHZ value) for every wallet with a Serrano Charter that ran at least one action.
  • ✓Priority for hosted runner slots when they open.
  • ✓A Serrano badge on your Safe report and your strategies.

Eligibility is read from the chain: Charters created and actions executed on Spicy before the mainnet announcement. No forms, no screenshots.

For operators

Publish now, launch first.

Operators who publish a strategy on Serrano and keep it running are the first strategies users see on mainnet day one, with terms nobody after them gets.

01
10% platform fee for six months

Instead of 25%. Enforced by a per-operator fee override in the mainnet registry, not a promise in an email.

02
Your strategy, your subscribers, day one

Serrano strategies with a verified manifest are listed on mainnet from the first block; subscribers who tested with you are already there.

03
Founding operator badge and support

Marked on the marketplace and the Live page. A direct line to us for manifest design, caps and settlement questions.

The operator checklist

  • 1Open the Publish tab, choose Exchange agent or On-chain Charter, write the rules and your notes. Two transactions: registry entry, then the manifest.
  • 2Run your own strategy: adopt it with cex-adopt <id> <yourAddress> (exchange) or link it in a Charter (on-chain), initialize the high-water mark, let it settle.
  • 3Keep it alive for at least 14 days with real test activity. Reputation is computed from the chain: longevity, adoption, activity, performance.
  • 4Tell three people to subscribe their Safe. Watch the fee split and your earnings accrue in the registry; withdraw once to see the pull payment.
  • 5Send us one paragraph on what the manifest format is missing. That paragraph shapes manifest v2.

Founding status is read from the chain: a strategy published on Spicy before the mainnet announcement with a verified manifest, at least one subscriber or 14 days of activity, and no manifest hash mismatch.

Why "Serrano"

Chiliz names its chains after peppers. Serrano is the small hot one: enough heat to prove the dish, cheap enough to use by the handful. That is this phase: every real contract, every real rule, play money only, until the numbers have been boring long enough.

What Serrano is not

  • ✕Not mainnet, not real money, not a track record.
  • ✕Not audited yet. Mainnet follows the audit; findings get published.
  • ✕Not an airdrop. There is no token. The founding terms are fees and access, nothing else.
